Al-Ittifaq FC has unveiled a new club crest inspired by AC ChievoVerona, marking the latest step in the growing collaboration between the UAE First Division League club and its Italian counterpart.

While club rebrands often focus on visual identity, Al-Ittifaq has positioned the new logo as a symbol of a broader international football project linking Italy and the United Arab Emirates through shared sporting, organisational and player development objectives.

The rebranding reflects the next stage of a partnership that extends well beyond branding, encompassing coaching, academy development, infrastructure and player pathways.

A Shared Identity Across Two Clubs ChievoVerona

The new crest replaces Al-Ittifaq's previous circular logo with a shield design that adopts ChievoVerona's distinctive yellow-and-blue colour palette. At its centre remains the falcon, a symbol deeply rooted in Emirati culture, reinterpreted as an emblem of strength, determination and belonging.

According to the club, the visual identity has been designed to make the relationship between Al-Ittifaq FC and AC ChievoVerona immediately recognisable while preserving local cultural references.

Beyond Branding

The logo launch accompanies a wider development programme built around cooperation between the two organisations.

According to the clubs, the collaboration includes:

  • Youth development

  • Coach education

  • Sporting operations

  • Infrastructure development

  • Technical knowledge sharing

  • Player pathways between Europe and the Middle East

Recent transfers involving Daniele Baselli and Douglas Costa have already provided tangible examples of the relationship, with both players becoming part of the wider sporting project.
