AC Milan and PUMA have unveiled the club's new 2026/27 Away Kit, drawing inspiration from one of the defining moments in the Rossoneri's modern history.
As Milan begins a new season almost two decades after lifting the UEFA Champions League trophy in Athens, the club has built its latest away shirt around the city that delivered its seventh European crown.
Athens Becomes the Inspiration AC Milan
The new Away Kit uses Milan's traditional white base—long associated with the club's greatest European nights—but its strongest message is found beyond the visual design.
Printed inside the collar is the phrase "Dopo Istanbul c'è sempre Atene" ("After Istanbul, there is always Athens"), a message that has become deeply embedded in the club's culture following Milan's UEFA Champions League victory over Liverpool in the 2007 final.

Filippo Inzaghi Connects Past and Present
The campaign is fronted by Filippo Inzaghi, whose two goals secured Milan's victory in the 2007 UEFA Champions League final. His presence reinforces the connection between the generation that experienced Athens firsthand and today's supporters, while strengthening the authenticity of the campaign.
Executive Comments
Maikel Oettle, Chief Revenue Officer of AC Milan, said every element of the shirt reflects the identity that has defined the club for more than a century.
He added that wearing white means carrying forward a legacy connecting supporters who witnessed the club's greatest European nights with future generations.
PUMA Vice President Teamsport Dominique Gauthier described the story behind the shirt as one of the strongest narratives in European football, explaining that every design element was created to honour the club's ability to respond to adversity.
