TSG Hoffenheim has announced an expanded partnership with lighting specialist Kempf LED, marking a new phase in the club’s infrastructure development and sustainability strategy. The agreement, which builds upon a previous sleeve sponsorship with the TSG women’s team, now positions Kempf LED as a Business Team Partner and official lighting provider for the Bundesliga club.

Full Stadium Lighting Overhaul Underway

Kempf LED is currently outfitting Hoffenheim’s PreZero Arena with a complete LED floodlight system upgrade. The transformation includes the installation of advanced LED fixtures across the grandstands and stadium roof. The technology not only improves visibility and energy efficiency, but also plays a central role in delivering more immersive matchday entertainment through programmable lighting displays and RGBW roof illumination.

Sustainability as a Core Objective TSG Hoffenheim Kempf LED

Club Managing Director Tim Jost emphasized the importance of the project in supporting Hoffenheim’s broader sustainability goals:

“The floodlight upgrade at PreZero Arena will allow us to significantly reduce energy consumption and aligns with our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility. Our partnership with Kempf LED represents both innovation and regional connection. With the unique layout of the lighting system and the RGBW technology on the roof, we’re taking our stadium experience to a new level — not just for fans, but for partners and the entire TSG community.”

The upgraded lighting system will allow for more dynamic pre-match and halftime light shows, designed to amplify the emotional connection between fans and the club. TSG plans to introduce light-driven storytelling moments as part of its matchday entertainment strategy, creating what it describes as “goosebump atmosphere” experiences.
