TSG Hoffenheim and PreZero Extend Sustainability-Focused Partnership Through 2026.

TSG Hoffenheim and environmental services provider PreZero have extended their existing partnership for an additional two years. The renewed agreement includes naming rights for the 2025/26 season, continuing a collaboration that has been in place since 2019 and is centered on implementing circular economy practices in professional football.

Focus on Circular Economy and Zero Waste

A key element of the partnership is the operation of the PreZero Arena, which was officially certified as a Zero Waste venue in 2023. The certification is rare among global sports stadiums and reflects Hoffenheim's use of advanced waste separation, reusable packaging systems, and full traceability of material flows. Currently, around 90% of stadium waste is recycled, setting a benchmark for environmental standards in German football.

Marcus Sagitz, PreZero’s Managing Director of Marketing & Corporate Affairs, highlighted the progress made since the partnership began:

“Together with TSG Hoffenheim, we’ve established a foundation for circular economy practices in top-tier sport. Our collaboration is based on shared sustainability values and strong regional roots.”

The extended agreement reflects Hoffenheim’s evolving approach to sustainability under new club leadership. Rather than treating environmental initiatives as isolated efforts, the club is embedding ecological responsibility into its broader long-term strategy.
