Real Madrid has signed a new global strategic alliance with Kress and Worx, two technology-driven outdoor care brands, as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability. The partnership supports the maintenance of Real Madrid City, the club’s training complex, with zero-emission robotic technology and aligns with broader ESG goals the club has been pursuing across infrastructure and operations.

The collaboration is positioned as more than a typical sponsorship—it is a long-term initiative centered on innovation, environmental responsibility, and operational excellence.

Scope of the Partnership Real Madrid Kress Worx

Real Madrid will integrate Kress’ satellite-guided automated mowers and battery-powered professional landscaping equipment to manage over 1.2 million square meters of green space at its Valdebebas-based Real Madrid City.

The switch from conventional fuel-powered machinery to electric, virtually silent equipment is designed to:

  • Eliminate direct CO₂ emissions during maintenance operations

  • Reduce noise pollution in training and residential areas

  • Optimize maintenance efficiency using smart, GPS-based automation

Technology Integration: Kress and Worx Products in Action

Kress brings expertise in commercial-grade autonomous mowers, while Worx—its globally recognized consumer brand—contributes with its AI-powered Landroid series and PowerShare battery system. These systems are known for delivering intelligent, low-impact maintenance solutions to both professional and residential users.

The Real Madrid partnership signals a strong alignment between high-performance sports infrastructure and next-generation outdoor care technology.

Don Gao, CEO of Kress/Worx, emphasized the values-driven nature of the collaboration:

“This is more than a sponsorship. It is a statement of intent: to lead with excellence, innovate with responsibility, and raise the global standard for sustainable landscape maintenance.”

ESG and Operational Strategy at Real Madrid

This move reflects Real Madrid’s broader ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy, which has included:

  • Sustainability-focused renovations at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium

  • Increased energy efficiency across club facilities

  • Implementation of eco-conscious practices within the youth academy and first-team infrastructure

The integration of Kress and Worx solutions marks the club’s latest investment in sustainable operations, positioning Real Madrid not only as a global football brand, but as a leading institution in sustainable facility management.
