RCD Mallorca has reached a naming rights agreement with Elite Skills Arena (ESA), confirming the company as a strategic partner and title sponsor of the club’s new experiential space at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.
Under the deal, the facility will be branded as ESA Mallorca Football Park, marking another example of Spanish clubs monetising stadium-adjacent assets beyond traditional matchday revenue. The agreement was announced on February 20, 2026.
Naming Rights as Part of Revenue Diversification Strategy RCD Mallorca
The partnership reflects Mallorca’s continued efforts to diversify commercial income streams through infrastructure development and experiential offerings. Rather than limiting monetisation to front-of-shirt sponsorship or broadcast exposure, the club is expanding into technology-driven entertainment spaces linked to the stadium ecosystem.
ESA, an international company specialising in football-based performance measurement and gamified skill challenges, will implement its proprietary technology within the new facility. The system will allow users to track technical and physical performance metrics, compete in structured challenges, and access digital rankings and statistical data via an integrated platform.
Technology-Led Fan Engagement Model
The ESA Mallorca Football Park is designed as a year-round activation space targeting local supporters, families, and youth participants, tourists visiting Palma, and corporate groups and events.
By integrating measurable performance tracking and digital interaction, the facility moves beyond a traditional football training area and into the category of experiential sports entertainment. Such infrastructure allows clubs to generate recurring non-broadcast revenue through ticketed participation, group bookings, and branded activations — a growing priority for mid-tier European clubs seeking financial stability outside television income.
