RB Leipzig and PUMA have unveiled a limited-edition “Glow In The Dark” jersey, combining performance textile innovation with a city-inspired design concept.
The special release marks the first RB Leipzig shirt to feature fluorescent logo elements on both the front and back, alongside a graphic pattern inspired by the urban structure of Leipzig. The design integrates photoluminescent detailing intended to activate under low-light conditions.
International Product Launch in New York RB Leipzig
The jersey was introduced internationally during an activation event at the Saturdays Football store in New York City, coinciding with New York Fashion Week. According to the club, the event attracted approximately 150–170 invited guests from football, media and fashion sectors.

The launch included on-site personalisation, live artistic elements and DJ programming, positioning the product within a lifestyle and streetwear environment rather than a traditional football retail setting. The activation reportedly generated strong purchase demand and waiting list interest.
Local Fan Engagement in Leipzig
Ahead of the public rollout, RB Leipzig hosted an exclusive pre-shopping evening for approximately 350 supporters at the club’s official fan store in Leipzig.
The jersey made its on-pitch debut under floodlights on February 21 during the club’s Bundesliga home fixture against Borussia Dortmund, reinforcing the “activated at night” product concept.
