Paris Saint-Germain has confirmed the selection of 34 amateur clubs from the Île-de-France region for the sixth edition of its Club Tour SNIPES programme, continuing its structured approach to youth development and regional engagement.
The initiative will involve nearly 2,000 young players during the spring period, combining training sessions delivered by PSG technical staff with a tournament format hosted at the club’s Campus in Poissy.
While positioned as a grassroots development programme, the Club Tour SNIPES reflects a broader strategic objective: strengthening PSG’s local ecosystem while reinforcing long-term brand presence in one of Europe’s most competitive football regions.
A Structured Development Programme Linking Grassroots and Elite Football Paris Saint-Germain
The 2026 edition will include two core components.
Selected clubs will participate in dedicated training sessions led by Paris Saint-Germain coaches, designed to introduce the club’s methodology at grassroots level. In parallel, 24 teams will compete in the Club Tour SNIPES Cup, a tournament format introduced in 2024 and hosted at PSG’s training complex in Poissy.
This dual structure combines education and competition, allowing PSG to engage young players through both technical development and match-based experiences. The format also ensures direct interaction between amateur clubs and the club’s high-performance environment, extending PSG’s influence beyond its professional squads.
Regional Engagement as Part of Long-Term Strategy
The programme is focused entirely on the Île-de-France region, a market that holds both sporting and commercial importance for Paris Saint-Germain.
By working with local amateur clubs, PSG strengthens its position within a densely populated football ecosystem that consistently produces talent and maintains high participation levels at youth level.
The programme will officially launch with an event at the Parc des Princes, where representatives of the selected clubs will gather to mark the start of the 2026 edition.
