Juventus has expanded the international distribution of its children’s animated series Team Jay through a new agreement with Migu, making the show available in Mainland China for the first time.
The launch, timed to coincide with the 2026 Chinese New Year period, introduces the series in Chinese dubbing and marks a strategic move to deepen Juventus’ engagement with younger audiences in one of football’s most commercially significant markets.
Exclusive Distribution on Migu Juventus
Under the arrangement, Team Jay will be distributed exclusively on Migu from 13 to 23 February 2026, with two new episodes released daily during the holiday window. Migu is a leading digital content platform in China and also holds broadcast rights for Serie A, providing Juventus with an integrated content presence across both live football and youth entertainment.
From a strategic standpoint, the partnership aligns Juventus’ youth-oriented intellectual property with an established Chinese digital ecosystem, reinforcing the club’s multi-layer content strategy in Asia.
Youth-Focused IP as Brand Extension
Team Jay is positioned as the first animated series created by a football club, targeting children aged six to eleven. The series integrates themes such as teamwork, inclusion, environmental awareness and empathy — areas increasingly used by clubs to frame educational and community-oriented messaging.
Beyond narrative positioning, the project functions as a long-term brand extension tool. According to club-released figures, Team Jay has accumulated 1.8 million views globally since its debut, with total YouTube views reaching 105.6 million in 2025 — a 24% increase compared to 2024. December 2025 exceeded 13 million views, representing the second-highest monthly performance in the series’ history.
