Inter Miami CF and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) have announced a long-term strategic partnership, naming HPE the first Founding Partner and Official Technology Partner of Miami Freedom Park, the club’s future stadium and entertainment complex currently under development in Miami.
The deal positions HPE as the exclusive provider of network infrastructure, cloud solutions, and hybrid cloud services for the 131-acre mixed-use development, including the new stadium set to open in 2026. The partnership is expected to deliver a highly connected, data-driven fan environment powered by cutting-edge technology.
Technology as the Foundation of the Stadium Experience
Through its solutions portfolio — including HPE Aruba Networking, HPE Alletra Storage, VM Essentials, and HPE GreenLake cloud — HPE will deploy a suite of services designed to optimize the entire fan journey at Miami Freedom Park.
Key applications include:
High-density Wi-Fi using 6 GHz access points for seamless mobile usage during peak events
Cloud-powered personalization and interactivity across retail, hospitality, and content zones
AI-driven infrastructure monitoring to manage traffic patterns and prevent connectivity issues in real time
Data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and unlock commercial insights
The stadium and entertainment district will be equipped to support tens of thousands of fans, each connected to a digitally adaptive environment.
Strategic Intent Behind the Partnership Inter Miami HPE Miami Freedom Park
HPE’s involvement reflects a broader shift in the sports and entertainment industry, where venue development and digital transformation now go hand-in-hand. The partnership will enable Inter Miami and Miami Freedom Park to deliver not just a stadium, but a smart destination experience.
Antonio Neri, CEO of HPE, emphasized the innovation behind the deal:
“Technology can be a powerful tool for passionate fans to engage in new ways and for teams to perform at their best. We are excited to partner with Inter Miami CF and provide the most innovative environment for enjoying a match or performance.”
Xavier Asensi, Inter Miami’s President of Business Operations, added:
“This is more than a partnership; it’s a key pillar in building the most advanced and fan-focused destination in global sports and entertainment.”
Miami Freedom Park: A Mixed-Use Vision for the Future
Scheduled to open next year, Miami Freedom Park will include:
A new state-of-the-art stadium
Public parks and green spaces
Dining, retail, and entertainment areas
A broader tech-enabled entertainment district
As part of the partnership, HPE Aruba Networking Central will manage wired and wireless networks across the complex, adapting in real time to fluctuating demand and crowd movement. The system’s AI capabilities will anticipate and mitigate congestion points, ensuring continuous connectivity.
The park’s cloud infrastructure will support real-time performance analytics, enabling Inter Miami CF to improve matchday operations and deliver interactive content to fans on and off site.
