Inter Miami CF has announced a multi-year partnership with Nu Holdings, naming the company a Main Partner of the club and securing naming rights for Inter Miami’s new stadium at Miami Freedom Park.
Under the agreement, the venue will be branded Nu Stadium when it opens on April 4, 2026, marking one of the most prominent stadium naming-rights deals in Major League Soccer’s current expansion cycle.
Stadium as Anchor Asset of Miami Freedom Park Inter Miami
Nu Stadium will form the centerpiece of the broader Miami Freedom Park development, a multi-use sports and entertainment district currently under construction.
The 26,700-seat venue will serve as Inter Miami’s permanent home while also hosting concerts, corporate events and additional sporting competitions throughout the year. The stadium is designed to operate as a year-round asset rather than a matchday-only venue, reflecting a wider trend in stadium monetisation strategies across North American sports. The opening will coincide with Inter Miami’s 2026 home opener.
Fintech Expansion Into the U.S.
For Nu, the partnership aligns with the company’s ongoing international expansion strategy. The digital banking platform currently serves more than 131 million customers globally and is pursuing regulatory approval to establish a banking presence in the United States.
In September 2025, the company filed for a U.S. federal bank charter with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, receiving conditional approval approximately four months later. The stadium naming rights deal positions the Nu brand at the centre of one of the most visible sports properties in the U.S. market.
Additional Sponsorship Assets
Beyond naming rights, the partnership includes several commercial assets. Nu branding will appear on the back of Inter Miami’s jersey beginning in August 2026, as part of a new MLS commercial inventory category. The agreement also includes premium hospitality integration inside the stadium, including the Nu Club, a 770-capacity hospitality lounge offering a glass tunnel view of players entering the pitch.
A second activation space, Nu Plaza, will function as a public fan gathering area within the wider stadium district.
