Galatasaray S.K. has signed a new shirt sponsorship agreement with furniture brand Alfemo, confirming the company as sleeve sponsor of the club’s first football team.
The signing ceremony took place at Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi RAMS Park and was attended by club president Dursun Özbek, Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş. vice president Abdullah Kavukcu, Zeren Group chairman and CEO Mustafa Yiğit Zeren, and Alfemo general manager Tolga Kaya.
The agreement expands Galatasaray’s commercial portfolio within the Turkish private sector and adds another domestic brand to the club’s sponsorship structure for the current cycle.
Sponsorship Structure and Brand Visibility Galatasaray
Under the deal, Alfemo’s logo will appear on the sleeve of the first team’s jersey. Sleeve sponsorship inventory has become increasingly valuable across European and Middle Eastern football markets, offering high broadcast visibility while remaining separate from primary front-of-shirt partnerships.
The partnership also reinforces Galatasaray’s ongoing collaboration with Zeren Group, which has previously engaged with the club in other areas. From a commercial standpoint, the move reflects a continued focus on diversified sponsor categories beyond traditional sectors such as finance, telecoms, and betting.
Alfemo operates in the furniture and home living sector and is currently undergoing a growth phase under Zeren Group ownership. According to company statements, the brand is pursuing domestic and international retail expansion, including new store investments planned for 2026.
Executive Comments
Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek described the agreement as a values-based partnership rather than a purely commercial placement, emphasising alignment in quality standards and long-term vision.
Alfemo General Manager Tolga Kaya stated that the company views the agreement as part of a broader brand repositioning strategy under Zeren Group, highlighting investments in production capacity, organisational restructuring, and retail network expansion. Kaya also confirmed that the company aims to increase both domestic and international competitiveness over the coming years.
