FC Schalke 04 has signed BEUMER Group as its new main partner from the 2026/27 season, securing a long-term front-of-shirt agreement that runs until at least 2029.
The deal gives Schalke early certainty across its key commercial inventory, with the club confirming that all major shirt assets — including kit supplier, sleeve sponsor and front-of-shirt partner — are now secured well ahead of the upcoming season.
Long-Term Agreement Independent of League Status FC Schalke 04
One of the defining elements of the partnership is its structure.
The agreement remains valid regardless of which professional league Schalke competes in, providing the club with financial stability and planning certainty at a time when sporting outcomes can significantly impact commercial revenue.
Industrial Partner With Strong Financial Profile
BEUMER Group brings a significant industrial profile to the partnership.
The company operates in over 70 countries and employs more than 6,000 people, with a business focused on intralogistics, including conveying systems, automation and distribution solutions across industries such as mining, e-commerce, logistics and airports.
In financial terms, BEUMER reported:
• €1.83 billion in incoming orders
• €1.34 billion in revenue
both representing record figures in 2025, the company’s 90th anniversary year.
Front-of-Shirt Exposure and Multi-Channel Activation
Under the agreement, BEUMER Group will feature on the front of Schalke’s match shirts in both Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal competitions.
In addition to kit branding, the deal includes a broad package of commercial rights across:
• VELTINS-Arena advertising inventory
• digital platforms
• club communication channels
This multi-channel structure reflects a standard approach in top-tier sponsorship agreements, combining high-visibility assets with integrated activation opportunities.
Regional Identity and Strategic Alignment
The partnership also draws on shared regional roots.
Both Schalke and BEUMER have historical ties to the Ruhr region and the industrial sector, particularly through connections to mining — a core part of Schalke’s identity. This alignment plays an important role in the positioning of the deal, particularly in a sponsorship landscape where authenticity and local relevance are increasingly valued.
Executive Comments
Matthias Tillmann, CEO of FC Schalke 04, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership:
“Signing a long-term agreement with BEUMER Group gives us planning certainty and allows us to move forward with stability, regardless of league context.”
Rudolf Hausladen, CEO of BEUMER Group, pointed to the wider objectives behind the deal:
“This partnership strengthens our presence as a global technology company while reinforcing our connection to the region and its values.”
