Red&Gold Football, the joint venture between FC Bayern München and Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), has announced a new strategic partnership with Jeju SK FC, a top-flight club in South Korea’s K League.

The agreement aims to create a player development pathway linking South Korea with both European football and Major League Soccer (MLS). The collaboration will include:


  • Regular exchange of coaching expertise and training methodologies

  • Introduction of a proprietary scouting system at Jeju SK FC

  • Opportunities for young Korean players to train in Europe and the United States

  • Participation in international tournaments to showcase talent on a global stage


Market Context


The partnership reflects the growing importance of South Korea as a market for international football brands. Both FC Bayern and LAFC have prior experience with Korean players, including Min-jae Kim and Heung-min Son, who represent the rising global profile of Korean football.
