Aston Villa FC has announced a new live entertainment development in collaboration with Oak View Group (OVG). The 3,500-capacity venue, named The Warehouse, will open next to Villa Park in December 2025 and is designed to host concerts, comedy shows, boxing, and other live events — positioning the club to expand beyond football into year-round audience engagement and venue operations.

First-of-Its-Kind in the Premier League Aston Villa Oak View Group

The Warehouse marks the first time a Premier League club has developed a purpose-built, mid-sized entertainment venue on its home grounds. Located in a converted former training facility, the project aims to offer fans a new pre- and post-match destination while contributing to Birmingham’s cultural landscape.

The initiative is part of Aston Villa’s broader ambition to diversify its commercial assets, elevate matchday experience, and develop Villa Park into a multi-purpose hub.

Oak View Group to Oversee Programming and Operations

As Aston Villa’s strategic venue partner, Oak View Group will be responsible for event programming, securing top-tier musical acts, and supporting the naming rights strategy for the venue. OVG will also assist with operational planning, drawing on its experience across multiple U.K. and international venues.

The Warehouse is expected to become a go-to stop on the live entertainment circuit, offering a unique venue model that combines football infrastructure with cultural programming.

Enhancing Fan Experience and Commercial Reach

The venue will allow Aston Villa to:

  • Extend its brand presence beyond matchday

  • Offer new revenue opportunities through concerts and event rentals

  • Deepen connections with fans through year-round activity

  • Contribute to the urban development of the Villa Park area

“This is a new chapter in Aston Villa’s evolution,” said Chris Heck, President of Business Operations at the club. “The Warehouse gives us a high-quality space for live entertainment that enhances the fan experience and creates long-term commercial value.”

Cultural and Community Integration

The Warehouse will not only serve match-going supporters but also attract regional and national audiences, reinforcing Birmingham’s role as a rising destination for live entertainment. It will host music, sports, and cultural events, creating a flexible, multi-use space embedded within the local community.
