Al-Nassr Club, one of Saudi Arabia’s top football teams, has announced an exciting new partnership with the British International School of Riyadh (BISR). This collaboration is set to kick off in 2025 and aims to promote football in schools, focusing on youth engagement and development.

The Vision: Football for the Future

The partnership between Al-Nassr and BISR includes the construction of a state-of-the-art football dome in Riyadh. This impressive 105x68 meter field meets international standards and will be among the 15 largest indoor football facilities in the world. The dome will offer a professional-level environment, providing young players with the opportunity to hone their skills year-round.

Al-Nassr Academy: A Hub for Youth Development

This initiative is a key part of the #NassrAcademy program, which focuses on nurturing young talent and building a strong foundation for future football stars. The domes will serve as training grounds for aspiring players, offering structured coaching sessions and access to professional-level facilities.

Leonel Delgado: Leading the Youth Development Initiative

Leonel Delgado, Manager Nassr Football Academy at Al-Nassr, emphasized the club's commitment to creating top-tier facilities rather than rapid expansion.

"While other commercial academies aim to expand quickly, Al-Nassr focuses on establishing only the best facilities before opening an academy. This is our main criterion" - Leonel Delgado.

The Impact of the Partnership Al-Nassr British International School of Riyadh

The collaboration with the British International School of Riyadh highlights Al-Nassr’s commitment to community engagement and youth sports development. By introducing football programs in schools, Al-Nassr aims to:

  1. - Encourage Physical Activity: Promoting a healthy lifestyle among children.

  2. - Develop Local Talent: Providing a pathway for young players to join professional leagues.

  3. - Foster a Love for Football: Making the sport more accessible and enjoyable for the youth.

Why Football Domes?

Building football domes is a strategic move to create year-round training facilities, regardless of weather conditions. The climate-controlled environment will ensure that players can train consistently, improving their skills and performance.

A Step Towards the Future of Saudi Football

This partnership aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader vision of becoming a global sports hub. By investing in youth football, Al-Nassr is playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the sport in the country. The club’s efforts are expected to have a long-term impact, contributing to the growth of football in Saudi Arabia and supporting the kingdom’s ambitions in hosting international sports events.
