The Argentine Football Association (AFA) has announced a new regional sponsorship agreement in Bangladesh with Walton Hi-Tech Industries, the country’s leading manufacturer of electrical and electronic products. The partnership marks another step in AFA’s ongoing global brand expansion and positions Walton as the official regional sponsor of the Argentina National Team in Bangladesh.

This new agreement continues AFA’s broader strategy to grow its commercial presence across key international markets, particularly in Asia. Over recent years, the federation has pursued a deliberate expansion plan across India, China, Bangladesh, and the Middle East, adapting its marketing and digital content to local audiences to enhance fan engagement and brand visibility.


The partnership with Walton — the No. 1 electronics brand in Bangladesh — underscores AFA’s recognition of the country’s strong and historic passion for Argentine football, amplified by the national team’s recent global successes.


Strengthening Ties with Bangladeshi Fans


Under the agreement, Walton will activate various fan-focused initiatives designed to bring Bangladeshi supporters closer to the Argentina National Team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. These include exclusive campaigns, giveaways of signed jerseys, and unique fan experiences connecting Walton customers with the Argentine players and brand.


Claudio Tapia, President of AFA, emphasized the importance of this partnership:
