AC Milan has announced the expansion of its strategic partnership with Clivet, a leading provider of sustainable climate control solutions. The renewed agreement not only sees Clivet become the club’s Official Climate Partner but also introduces a first for the Rossoneri: the naming rights of its training complex in Milanello.

Effective from July 7, 2025 – the start of the club’s new training season – the iconic facility will officially be known as “Centro Sportivo Milanello powered by Clivet.” This move marks a significant step in AC Milan’s broader ambition to align infrastructure and performance with environmental responsibility.

A New Era for Milanello AC Milan Clivet

Milanello, long considered one of European football’s most respected training environments, will now serve as a flagship project for sustainable sports infrastructure. Clivet’s partnership aims to further enhance the facility by implementing climate systems that prioritize air quality, energy efficiency, and athlete well-being.

The rebranding reflects more than a name change. According to AC Milan, the deal embodies a shared philosophy between the two entities — integrating high-performance sports development with long-term environmental stewardship.

Extended Partnership Scope

In addition to the naming rights, Clivet will also become the Sleeve Partner on AC Milan’s training kits. Its branding will appear on the sleeves of gear worn by the Men’s First Team, Women’s First Team, Milan Futuro, and the Primavera youth squad.

This integration strengthens Clivet’s presence in the club’s operations, with the partnership focusing on developing future-oriented initiatives across both the sporting and environmental domains.

Executive Perspectives

Speaking on the agreement, Maikel Oettle, Chief Commercial Officer at AC Milan, stated:

“Milanello is our temple of performance, and well-being is a key pillar of that. By placing Clivet at its heart, we are not only enhancing the quality of our spaces today, but also shaping the future of training, development, and climate-conscious excellence in football.”

Massimiliano Venturi, Director of the Italy Business Unit at Clivet, added:

“We believe that natural comfort is a key factor in sport. Providing athletes with optimal temperature and air quality means putting them in the ideal conditions to express their full potential. This new chapter confirms our desire to actively contribute to the Club’s success.”

Clivet’s Role in Milan’s Infrastructure

Clivet’s relationship with AC Milan predates the formal partnership, with early installations at the PUMA House of Football in 2021. Since then, its systems have supported air quality and environmental performance at key locations including:

  • Milanello

  • Casa Milan

  • Milan Futuro building

  • San Siro Stadium

The company specializes in heat pump-based systems for heating, cooling, ventilation, and air purification — all geared toward reducing carbon footprint and enhancing user experience.
