Valencia CF has announced MaxAmaze as a Founding Partner of the new Nou Mestalla, the most prestigious partnership category associated with the club’s upcoming stadium. The agreement will see MaxAmaze design and implement an advanced audiovisual and lighting infrastructure, transforming the venue into a fully immersive environment when it opens in summer 2027.
Partnership Overview
As Founding Partner, MaxAmaze will play an integral role in shaping the technological and sensory identity of Nou Mestalla from the ground up. The company will deliver a unified system combining LED lighting, sound, and visual displays to create a connected, interactive experience for fans attending matches and events.
The project includes a series of large-scale installations:
• 300 LED projectors, meeting LALIGA, UEFA, and FIFA standards.
• Over 500 m² of 360° LED panels encircling the pitch across two tiers, enabling dynamic visuals and new commercial opportunities.
• Two giant video screens behind the Norte and Sur goals.
• Outdoor LED screens for the Fan Zone.
• An immersive audio system featuring 200 line-array speakers.
• More than 600 HD screens across hospitality and lounge areas.
All systems will be managed through a centralised control platform, ensuring seamless coordination of lighting, audio, and visual effects across all stadium activities.
Strategic Role in the Nou Mestalla Project
The partnership positions MaxAmaze as a key contributor to the stadium’s long-term vision — establishing Nou Mestalla as one of Europe’s most advanced football venues. The technological infrastructure will play a central role in creating what the club calls an “audiovisual spectacle” at every match, blending performance with fan immersion.
Javier Solís, Director General of Valencia CF, said:
“The Nou Mestalla will allow us to make a leap forward at all levels, and technology will play a very important role. MaxAmaze have studied the project thoroughly and presented a personalised proposal that aligns with our vision of creating a benchmark stadium in Europe.”
Enhancing the Matchday Experience
Klaas De Coster, CEO of MaxAmaze, described the collaboration as both a technical and cultural challenge:
“The challenge we are taking on with Valencia CF is truly special. Fans have been coming to Mestalla for over a century. Our mission is to ensure that the Nou Mestalla captures the authentic essence of Valencia CF while taking the fan experience to the next level.”
MaxAmaze, which has worked with major sporting venues worldwide, specialises in integrating lighting, sound, and visual design to enhance live sporting events. The company’s projects focus on delivering multi-sensory engagement that turns spectators into participants.
