Unicaja and Real Madrid have launched the Madridista Premium Unicaja Card, a new co-branded product that combines a debit card with Real Madrid’s Madridista Premium fan membership in a single financial instrument.
The initiative extends the long-standing partnership between the club and the Spanish banking group, positioning fan identity, payments and loyalty benefits within one integrated product. The card is available free of charge during its first year, with no issuance or maintenance fees in the initial period.
Blending Fan Membership With Everyday Banking Real Madrid
The Madridista Premium Unicaja Card allows users to operate as standard debit cardholders while simultaneously holding Madridista Premium status. New cardholders receive the fan membership free of charge for the first year, while existing Madridista Premium subscribers are offered a welcome gift upon contracting the card.
From the second year onward, the Madridista Premium fee can be covered by Unicaja, provided the customer reaches a predefined spending threshold through card usage. This points-based mechanism directly links everyday consumption to fan status retention, reinforcing recurring usage and long-term customer engagement.
Access, Discounts and Digital Engagement
Cardholders gain access to Madridista Premium benefits, including discounts on basketball and women’s football tickets, official club stores and the Tour Bernabéu. Additional features include access to digital content via RM Play, the digital edition of Hala Madrid magazine, and participation in presales, raffles and contests.
As Unicaja customers, cardholders also enter the bank’s own promotional ecosystem, with opportunities to win match tickets, stadium tours, merchandise, travel experiences and meet-and-greets with former players.
