Paris Saint-Germain has reported a record revenue of €837 million for the 2024/25 financial year. The results were unanimously approved by the club’s shareholders and mark a major step in PSG’s long-term growth strategy under Qatar Sports Investments (QSI).

Record Financial and Sporting Year Paris Saint-Germain Revenue

The 2024/25 season was one of the most successful in PSG’s history, both on and off the field. The club captured the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Ligue 1 title, Coupe de France, Trophée des Champions, and reached the FIFA Club World Cup final in the United States.

These achievements fueled an unprecedented year commercially and operationally. Despite structural limitations — such as lower domestic TV income compared to other major leagues and a smaller stadium capacity — PSG achieved significant growth:

  • Commercial revenue: €367 million (+30% year-on-year)

  • Matchday revenue: €175 million (fourth consecutive record)

  • Total revenue: €837 million, up ninefold since 2011

Since QSI’s acquisition in 2011, PSG’s total turnover has risen from €99 million to €837 million, illustrating the long-term transformation of the club’s financial base and brand value.

Cost Management and Financial Discipline

PSG emphasized that its growth is supported by strict financial management. The wage-to-revenue ratio, which once exceeded 111%, now stands at below 65%, reflecting a more sustainable and compliant financial structure in line with French and European regulations.

This operational efficiency, coupled with strong revenue diversification, positions PSG among Europe’s financially stable elite, even within an increasingly competitive global market.

Fan Engagement and Brand Development

PSG’s global brand expansion continues to accelerate. The club’s merchandise and retail operations reached record sales, with online store transactions up 210% since the start of the season and physical store sales up 90%. The launch of the 2025/26 home kit saw sales increase nearly 40% compared to the previous record.

The Parc des Princes sold out for the 170th consecutive match on October 17, 2025, and the season ticket renewal rate reached 98%, reflecting exceptional fan loyalty. On social media, PSG now reaches 235 million followers, 40% of whom are under 24 years old. The club ranks as the most followed football club on Twitch, the second most viewed on TikTok, and the third most discussed globally.

Internationally, PSG welcomed 110,000 visitors to its Champions League trophy exhibition in just six weeks, half of whom were from abroad. The club currently operates 14 official stores, 180 supporter clubs in 92 countries, and 177 PSG Academies in 21 countries, training over 50,000 young players.

Partnerships and Corporate Growth

The club reported strong commercial performance, with recent sponsorship renewals from Qatar Airways and FDJ United. Six new global partners joined during the season, bringing the total to 31 sponsors, one-third of which have maintained long-term relationships with PSG for over five years.

These figures reflect continued confidence in PSG’s international visibility and its appeal as a commercial platform connecting sport, lifestyle, and culture.

Local Impact and Future Projects

While PSG continues to grow as a global sports brand, it remains rooted in the Paris region, which serves as the economic and cultural base of its success. A 2024 study by CDES estimated that the club generated an economic impact of €243 million in Île-de-France and supported 2,300 jobs, including 810 permanent positions.

The PSG Campus in Poissy now includes 16,500 m² of facilities dedicated to youth training and education. Through the PSG for Communities Foundation, more than 300,000 young people have benefited from educational and social programs since 2000.

PSG’s proposed new stadium project, currently under study, is viewed as a strategic priority to enhance the matchday experience, diversify revenue streams, and strengthen the club’s long-term integration into the Parisian economic and cultural landscape.
