FC Barcelona has announced a three-year global partnership with Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP), a company developing privacy-first blockchain infrastructure powered by decentralised artificial intelligence. Under the agreement, ZKP becomes the club’s Official Cryptographic Protocol Partner through 2028, integrating its technology philosophy into Barça’s broader digital strategy.
Partnership Focused on Data Privacy and Secure Digital Innovation FC Barcelona
ZKP specialises in cryptographic protocols built on zero-knowledge proof technology, a method enabling information to be verified mathematically without requiring personal data to be exposed or stored.
Through the partnership, ZKP will:
• Gain access to FC Barcelona’s digital advertising inventory,
• Integrate brand visibility across the club’s communication platforms,
• Develop Barça-branded digital experiences, and
• Provide privacy-focused engagement tools for supporters.
The company’s model aims to establish a new technological standard within the sports industry — one in which personalised digital interactions are delivered without compromising user privacy.
According to FC Barcelona, ZKP’s approach aligns with emerging expectations around data governance in high-performance sport. The company’s decentralised AI layer is designed to:
• Analyse athlete performance data without revealing the underlying information,
• Prevent third-party misuse or exposure of confidential datasets,
• Ensure transparency and accountability in algorithmic systems.
