1. FC Nürnberg has confirmed LEBARA Mobile Germany Limited as a new addition to its commercial partner network. The agreement coincides with the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations and includes a custom fan offer, integrating LEBARA’s mobile services into the club’s growing ecosystem of member-focused benefits.

The partnership positions LEBARA as a digital services partner, supporting 1. FCN’s ongoing strategy to broaden its sponsorship portfolio through category-relevant, value-driven collaborations.

Telecom Brand Targets Regional Engagement

LEBARA Mobile, founded in the UK in 2001, operates across five European markets and is headquartered in Düsseldorf for its German operations. Known for flexible and affordable tariffs, LEBARA has positioned itself as a telecommunications provider focused on connectivity, accessibility, and sustainability — with features such as CO₂-neutral SIM card production and FSC-certified packaging already part of its business model.

For 1. FC Nürnberg, the partnership is expected to enhance fan services and brand activation opportunities, particularly through LEBARA’s inclusion in the club’s “Rot-Schwarze Vorteilswelt” — a member-exclusive benefits platform. 1. FC Nürnberg LEBARA

As part of the launch, LEBARA has introduced a “Jubiläumstarif” (anniversary tariff) tailored to FCN fans, underlining the club’s intent to celebrate its heritage with added value for supporters.

Strategic Alignment with Shared Values 1. FC Nürnberg LEBARA

Both parties have emphasized community engagement and inclusivity as shared values behind the collaboration. The partnership will include digital visibility across the club’s media channels and extend to broader commercial initiatives.

“1. FC Nürnberg represents community, social responsibility, and meaningful experiences — values that align with what LEBARA stands for,” said Katja Schumacher, Managing Director at LEBARA Germany.

“The club lives and breathes connection — on and off the pitch — making this a natural partnership,” added Dirk Schlünz, CEO of 1. FCN Marketing GmbH.

By integrating LEBARA into its sponsorship structure, Nürnberg continues to modernize its commercial ecosystem and appeal to younger, digitally native audiences, including multicultural demographics that often engage with flexible telecom brands like LEBARA.
