Chelsea Football Club has signed a multi-year partnership with Twilio, naming the customer engagement platform as an Official Supplier. The collaboration focuses on enhancing fan interactions both at Stamford Bridge and across digital platforms through Twilio Segment, a customer data platform designed to provide a 360-degree view of fan engagement.
Leveraging Data for a Personalized Fan Experience
With a global fanbase of 615 million, Chelsea aims to gain deeper insights into supporter behavior by analyzing both in-person and online interactions. The data-driven approach will enable the club to tailor fan experiences, offering more relevant content, targeted promotions, and personalized digital interactions.
By integrating Twilio Segment, Chelsea plans to:
• Improve stadium experiences, potentially offering real-time promotions or benefits to match-going fans.
• Personalize digital engagement, such as customizing website and app content based on individual fan preferences.
• Strengthen connections across both men’s and women’s teams, ensuring a more immersive fan experience across different demographics.
