FC Schalke 04 has unveiled its 2026/27 away kit, bringing back the club's historic crest and the iconic adidas Trefoil as part of a retro-inspired design that draws on one of the most recognisable periods in the club's history.

The launch marks the first time since the 1993/94 season that Schalke will wear an adidas Originals shirt in competitive football. The kit will make its debut during Schalke's away fixtures in the upcoming Bundesliga season.

Historic Identity Returns Schalke

The white shirt combines a classic polo collar, navy sleeve cuffs and adidas' signature three stripes with Schalke's historic badge.

The retro identity extends to the back of the shirt, where curved "Schalke" lettering and vintage-style squad numbers complete the design.

The club has also retained its current commercial partners within the new look, with BEUMER remaining the front-of-shirt sponsor and BLÅKLÄDER appearing on the left sleeve.

More Than a Kit Launch

The away shirt forms the second chapter of Schalke's seasonal campaign, "More than a shirt. The story we continue to write." According to the club, a third chapter titled "The Story We Wear" will follow later in August as part of the wider campaign surrounding the new kits.

The away shirt is already available through Schalke's online store and official fan shops. The adult version is priced at €99.95, while children's shirts retail for €74.95.

Alongside the away kit, Schalke also introduced a new burgundy goalkeeper shirt featuring a tonal front pattern and retro-style white name and number printing. The goalkeeper shirt is available to order online, with deliveries expected to begin in the coming weeks.
