RB Leipzig has launched a new feature within its official club app, allowing season ticket holders to track their match attendance and monitor progress toward minimum usage requirements.

The update reflects a growing focus among clubs on digital tools that support ticketing management, fan engagement and data visibility across the matchday experience.

Digital Tracking of Season Ticket Usage RB Leipzig

The new feature provides supporters with a clear overview of which home matches they have attended during the 2025/26 season.

Within the app, fans can view:

• past matches attended

• upcoming fixtures

• games not attended

A progress bar tracks how close supporters are to meeting the club’s minimum usage threshold, set at attendance for ten Bundesliga home matches.

Linking Ticketing Policy With Fan Behaviour

Minimum usage requirements are increasingly used by clubs to ensure stadium occupancy and reduce the number of unused seats. By integrating tracking directly into the app, RB Leipzig is aligning policy with user experience, reducing friction and providing fans with a clearer understanding of how their behaviour impacts eligibility.

The system also accounts for ticket forwarding, with transferred tickets counting toward usage, while resale via the official exchange platform does not.

The feature sits within RB Leipzig’s broader digital ecosystem, where the club app functions as a central hub for fan interaction. While stadium access continues to be managed through a separate ticketing app, the main club app now adds a layer of engagement and data visibility.
