A New Era of Collaboration Begins


RB Leipzig and the BMW Group Leipzig Plant have announced a significant long-term partnership. Effective immediately, the renowned car manufacturer from Munich, with a significant plant in Leipzig, becomes the "Official Partner" of RB Leipzig. This partnership is set to bring innovative, fully electric vehicles from the BMW Group to the players and training staff, enhancing their mobility with the cutting-edge MINI and BMW collections. The fully electric MINI Countryman, produced locally in Leipzig, will soon be the vehicle of choice for the team.


Extensive Presence at Red Bull Arena


As part of this exciting collaboration, BMW Group will have a significant presence at Red Bull Arena during home games. Fans can expect to see the brand prominently displayed on LED banners and the giant screen. Additionally, BMW Group is planning engaging matchday activities to elevate the fan experience. One such initiative is the "MINI bench," offering fans a unique opportunity to watch home matches from a coach's perspective.


Community Engagement and Social Responsibility


This partnership goes beyond football and cars. RB Leipzig and BMW Group are committed to various joint social engagements within the region. The BMW Group will support the RBL Funding Initiative, which includes projects aimed at promoting grassroots youth sports. Collaborative activities with the RB Leipzig Women’s Team are also in the pipeline, further strengthening community ties and promoting inclusivity in sports.

Today, with around 850 Red Bull MINIs traveling worldwide, this collaboration between RB Leipzig and the BMW Group feels like a natural extension of a long-standing relationship.
